Cahill Properties LLC of Easton is looking to open its new development, the 48-unit NorthPark Apartments, on June 1.
The $7 million project at 2000 Meyer Lane off William Penn Highway in Bethlehem Township is under construction and includes two buildings.
“Progress is going well,” said Dan Cahill, project manager. “We are finished with the top floor and progressing down.
Each building will have 24 units and be three stories. Planned are elevators and a courtyard in the middle with a fire pit.
Cahill said he is offering pre-leasing deals which include one month of free rent.
He said he has had a lot of leads and is awaiting final certificate of occupancy, which should occur in two weeks.
NorthPark will have four types of units, all with extended balconies.
The units include single-bedroom units, single units with an office/den and two-bedroom units. Rents will be market competitive, $1,300 to $1,700.
Other amenities include a fitness center and multipurpose room.
Apartments also will have gas heat, high efficiency hot water, electric ovens, self-closing cabinets and granite countertops. The site will have on-street parking and nine garage ports.
Another feature is a package concierge which allows tenants to receive text messages when a package is delivered to their locker at the apartment complex, where they can pick it up.
The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation park-and-ride lot is nearby.
Shane Patrick Associates Inc. of Allentown is the construction firm, while R+D Architecture of Easton is the designer. A.T. Hobel Excavating of Orefield performed site work. Keller Williams Realty is leasing the units.
