March was a record month for table game revenue in Pennsylvania, with the Sands Casino Resort Bethlehem leading the pack.
The state gaming control board reported that with an average of 1,231 tables in operation statewide on a daily basis, last month’s gross table game revenue was $79.54 million compared to $77.91 million in March 2016.
Before last month, March 2016’s revenue had been the previous record high.
The Sands took in the highest table game revenue with $21.36 million, up 8.58 percent from $19.68 million in March 2016.
Mount Airy Casino Resort in Mount Pocono saw a 5.85 percent increase, taking in $4.34 million in table game revenue in March, up from $4.1 million in March 2016.
Total tax revenue from table games play during March 2017 was $12.84 million.
