A technology provider from Upper Macungie Township said it acquired a Montgomery County firm, making it the company’s third acquisition.
The Lehigh Valley firm, integraONE, acquired Quatro Systems Inc. of Horsham and previously acquired Classic Networking Inc. of Mechanicsburg and 7 Layer Solutions Inc. of Saxonburg (near Pittsburgh).
Privately owned integraONE provides networking infrastructure, information technology services, data center, server and storage solutions as well as security technologies, cloud solutions and unified communications.
“Our managed services product, FusionONE, has been very well received by organizations who are looking for outsourced help in managing their IT infrastructure,” said Anoure Fenstermaker, marketing director for integraONE. “Quatro Systems has been primarily focused on managed services in recent years.
“By adding the experienced Quatro team as well as their existing client base to the integraONE organization, we are able to serve an even larger base of clients with not only our FusionONE product but all of our technology offerings.”
She said the company is always open to opportunities that provide accelerated incremental growth for its company and will offer clients more resources, product offerings, technical expertise or a local office presence. The three acquisitions it has made have given integraONE the ability to reach more clients throughout the mid-Atlantic, she said.
“It adds certainly to our own technical staff and gives us a physical presence to serve the Philadelphia market,” said Marty Andrefski, president of integraONE. “It adds resources to our engineering and sales team.”
The deal also helps integraONE expand its managed services (information technology) practice, he added. It’s an area where he has seen significant growth the past five years.
“The addition of the Quatro team allows us to expand that growth,” Andrefski said. “Quatro also had a focus on managed services, and this will allow us to expand that, to accelerate and continue to grow.”
With its managed services practice, integraONE either manages the IT for other firms on-site or remotely, he said.
The company’s headquarters have been in Upper Macungie since 1990.
With the acquisition, the company now has 75 employees, she said. About half work in the Lehigh Valley.
Fenstermaker declined to disclose the terms of the deal.
