Lehigh Valley Business has disclosed its schedule of events for 2017, beginning with its Real Estate & Development Symposium on March 7.
The year also includes five awards ceremonies that honor business professionals and companies, an annual expo and symposiums on higher education, health care, manufacturing and Berks County real estate and development.
“This will be the fifth year of most of our awards events, and we are celebrating by having a reunion of our Forty Under 40 honorees,” said Mike O’Rourke, publisher of Lehigh Valley Business. “We will recognize each class, as well as the Class of 2017.”
He noted that Lehigh Valley Business has picked a new venue – Bear Creek Mountain Resort & Conference Center – for the Forty Under 40 event, on June 15, to accommodate additional attendees.
The Future of Higher Education Symposium, scheduled for April 5, is a new event. A panel of local college presidents will address issues such as affordability, enrollment and technology.
“We look forward to our full slate of events in 2017,” O’Rourke said.
