Jerdon Construction Services of South Whitehall Township said it is working on building a new 13,000-square-foot home for Easton Gerber Collision & Glass in Bethlehem Township.

Gerber will stay operational at its William Penn Highway site during the three-month project.

Workers will outfit the new facility on Meyer Lane, which is also in the township, with a spray booth and prep decks for paint and repair.

The front of the building will feature a split face block with decorative accent colored columns.

Workers will cover the service drive with a canopy to make it easier to drop off and pick up vehicles.

Gerber, headquartered in Illinois, has auto collision and glass repair companies throughout North America.

Aside from Bethlehem Township, other Greater Lehigh Valley locations include Bath, Fogelsville and Pen Argyl.
