J.P. Mascaro & Sons, a regional solid waste and recycling company based in Audubon, has been awarded a new three-year, $1.1 million contract to service the borough of Hamburg.

The borough will be serviced by Mascaro’s Berks County division, which has about 100 employees and 50 collection vehicles. The Berks division covers Berks, Chester, Montgomery and Schuylkill counties.

The contract begins Sept. 2 and covers both the removal of waste and recyclables for all Hamburg residents.
