A mixed-use warehouse and office building in Allentown is expected to be converted into an indoor soccer and sports facility by this fall.

Sherman Street Soccer LLC, represented by Feinberg Real Estate Advisors of Allentown, bought the nearly 40,000-square-foot building at 1344 Sherman St.

“We’re very excited about our new facility,” said Greg Ramos, president of Sherman Street Soccer LLC and executive director of FC Lehigh Valley United soccer club. The competitive soccer club will be housed in the new building.

Renovations on the building to prepare it for use as a sports facility are expected to be complete by November.

“There is a tremendous demand for indoor fields for training and games. We will also accommodate lacrosse, field hockey and other sports with our world class turf system,” Ramos said.
