Attorney Andrew H. Ralston Jr., a partner at Gross McGinley LLP in Allentown, was appointed to the board of directors of the Hamilton District Main Street Program, a community development project of the Allentown Chamber of Commerce.


Boucher & James Inc. of Doylestown said that Justin Geonnotti, Professional Engineer, has been certified as a bridge safety inspector by the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation. He is certified to inventory and inspect bridges in accordance with the requirements of National Bridge Inspection Standards.

Alpha Distribution Solutions of Schuylkill Haven delivered 38 pairs of donated specialty comfort shoes to residents of Seton Manor in Orwigsburg on behalf of InStride Shoes, a customer of the distribution company. Seton Manor provides skilled nursing and rehabilitation services.


Sacred Heart Health System in Allentown said Dr. Geoffrey G. Hallock recently was awarded the Fu-Chan Wei Award for Excellence in Reconstructive Surgery at the annual Chang Gung-Mayo Clinic Symposium in Taipei, Taiwan. The Fu Chan Wei Award recognizes international expertise and a lifelong commitment in the area of reconstructive microsurgery and was named in honor of Fu Chan Wei, M.D., acknowledged as one of the top micro-surgeons in the world. Hallock is the fifth recipient of the award. He has been a surgeon in the Lehigh Valley for 33 years, primarily at Sacred Heart and St. Luke’s University Health Network.
