Sahl Communications Inc. in Bethlehem announced two additions. Beth Barry joined the public relations firm as director of marketing, and Dan Lasko joined as the new director of government relations.
A graduate of Lehigh University, Barry has more than 15 years of marketing management experience in the financial services and retail sectors, and focuses on strategic planning and marketing.
Lasko will help clients make connections and navigate the government landscape. During his career as a corporal in the Marine Corps, Lasko received the Purple Heart medal, Navy Marine Corps Achievement medal and Afghanistan Campaign medal.
Walmart in Quakertown promoted Sean Templeton to store manager. He will oversee daily operations of the store, which has more than 260 employees. Templeton began his career with Walmart more than 10 years ago as a seasonal hourly associate in Kingsport, Tenn., and was promoted to assistant manager a few years later.
The Reading Royals of the East Coast Hockey League hired Dylan Ward as a ticket account executive. Ward’s duties will include all phases of ticket sales and service. A graduate of York College, he was a marketing and ticket sales intern with the Royals the past two seasons and also was a marketing intern with the Lancaster Barnstormers Atlantic League professional baseball team.
Reading Health System appointed Daniel Ahern as senior vice president, strategy and business development. He had been senior vice president, strategy and business development for Mercy Health System in Conshohocken. A graduate of Villanova University, he also held senior level positions at Albert Einstein Healthcare Network in Philadelphia.
Berks Fire Water Restorations Inc. in Reading promoted three of its employees.
Chad Moyer was promoted to project manager. Moyer joined the company in 2003 and has been a team leader since 2007. His responsibilities include providing technical direction to team leaders and maintaining the quality of repairs and restorations.
Geoff Moyer was promoted to team leader. Moyer joined the company in 2008 as a carpenter, and in his new role will provide leadership to crew members and maintaining project production schedules.
Adam Spiers was promoted to restoration team leader. He joined the company in 2013 as a restoration technician,
Bursich Associates in Pottstown hired Eric Kaufman to its transportation practice. Kaufman brings more than 20 years of traffic and transportation design experience to the firm. His experience includes managing federally and state funded projects through the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation approvals process, representing municipalities as traffic engineer in both a review and design capacity, and assisting the land development community by obtaining municipal approvals on their behalf.
Michele Heberling joined Client 1st Financial LLC in Fogelsville as an administrative assistant. A graduate of Lehigh Carbon Community College, she has been in service and support positions since 2006.
Justin Stroh joined AlphaGraphics Lehigh Valley in Allentown as a marketing and sales consultant. A graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania, Stroh is on the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber Young Professionals Council.
