Lehigh Valley Mall in Whitehall Township is getting a new clothing boutique store on Saturday as one of the region’s largest shopping venues looks to add four new retailers in the coming months.

The new boutique is Francesca’s, a chain of more than 450 stores in 45 states.

The store carries what its website describes as an “eclectic mix of carefully-curated clothing, bright baubles, bold accessories and playful gifts.”

Among the items for sale are prom dresses, intimate apparel, costume jewelry, picture frames and candles. The store is on the lower level of the mall near guest services and is accessible through the lifestyle center.

It is the first of several new shops that will debut at the mall in the coming months.

Bag designer Vera Bradley is expected to open a store this fall. A Lids Locker Room and Hoops, a basketball-themed retailer, also are headed to the mall.

“We’re very excited to welcome these new and diverse retail offerings to the property,” said John Ferreira, Lehigh Valley Mall manager.
