Leadercast Greater Lehigh Valley said that Bill McDermott, CEO of SAP, will be joining its 2014 speaker lineup. SAP is an $80 billion company with more than $17 billion in revenue in 2011. SAP has more than 55,000 employees with 183,000 customers of all sizes in more than 25 industries and 130 nations.

A mini-documentary capturing the Phoebe Berks Olympics filmed by Thrive Media has been named a gold recipient in the International AVA Digital Awards 2014 competition. AVA Digital Awards is an international competition that recognizes outstanding work by creative professionals involved in the concept, direction, design and production of media. About 2,100 entries throughout the United States and several other nations were submitted in the 2014 competition. Sixteen percent of entrants received a gold award.

NAI Summit’s Matt Dorman and Jay Haines closed a five-year lease for 3,680 square feet of office space in the Class A office building at 1550 Pond Road in Allentown. Dorman represented the owner, Franklin Realty Development Corp., and Haines represented the tenant, Microphotonics Inc. Founded in 1992, Microphotonics Inc. is a leading source of advanced instrumentation for scientific and industrial research.
Dorman also represented the owner of 1550 Pond Road in another five-year lease with a new tenant, de Maximis Inc., for 3,519 square feet of office space. De Maximis was founded in 1988 in Knoxville, Tenn., and provides project coordination and management services to multiparty groups involved in environmental projects in the U.S. and Caribbean.
He also represented the tenant, Med East, for 1,200 square feet of office space at 2591 Baglyos Circle in Bethlehem. Med East is one of the largest independent orthotics and durable medical equipment providers in New Jersey and Pennsylvania and plans to use the space for a doctor’s office.
