Yesterday, workers from North Star Construction stood on a temporary platform 11 stories high over the side of Two City Center and installed the National Penn Bank logo on the building at 645 Hamilton St.

The office/retail tower will be the first new construction in Allentown's Neighborhood Improvement Zone to open when National Penn employees begin to occupy five floors on Monday.

The company is relocating its corporate headquarters from Boyertown to Two City Center and will be the building's anchor tenant.

National Penn will continue to move employees to the new site through May.
