The Easton Area Sam’s Club opened in 1996. It is a membership-based retailer and wholesaler offering a wide selection of goods and services, from fresh food to car tires.
The store’s response to the devastation wrought by Superstorm Sandy. Sam’s Club employees donated food, supplies and space to both first responders and victims of the storm.
Community-based programs that empower young people, families and small businesses to make smart choices that lead to healthy and bright futures. Each local Sam’s Club also operates its own charitable giving programs, including a grant program for local nonprofits.
Encouraging Philanthropy in the Workplace:
A program called Volunteerism Always Pays allows associates to request corporate contributions to charities where they volunteer. The Easton Area Sam’s Club, under the leadership of employee Don Flad, is a top participant among company stores nationwide
