A recently completed building, which replaced the old Jack Jones Buick on Broad Street in Bethlehem, is now home to Primary Care Associates of the Lehigh Valley Physicians Group.
The practice, formerly known as West Broad Street Family Medicine, moved to the new facility from a converted house at 801 W. Broad St., Bethlehem.
The new three-story building, at 325 W. Broad St., also will be home, in the coming months, to an obstetrics and pediatric practice of Lehigh Valley Health Network.
Serfass Construction of Allentown built the $4 million, 17,000-square-foot facility.
MKSD of Allentown is the architect on the project, and Novak Ventures Inc. of Bethlehem is the developer.
The former auto dealership, which many viewed as a landmark gateway into the city of Bethlehem, had been vacant since 2005. It was demolished to make way for the medical facility after deteriorating because of flooding and other structural damage over the years.
The new building was designed to reflect the 1920s-era feel of the former Jack Jones building and to blend into the surrounding neighborhood.
