Wednesday is a big day for business in the region. The annual Lehigh Valley Business Expo gets underway at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Agri-Plex Expo Center in the Allentown Fairgrounds.

The one-day business-to-business networking event kicks off with a health care symposium and breakfast that precedes the event at 7:30 a.m. The day also features the Fastest Growing Companies awards luncheon at noon and a display of executive autos.

More than 125 exhibitors will be on hand, sharing information on products and services available to business professionals in the Greater Lehigh Valley area.

More than 1,000 business professionals are expected to come out for the event.

“It’s one of the biggest networking events of the year for the Lehigh Valley business community,” said Lehigh Valley Business Publisher Mike O’Rourke. “It’s going to be a busy day with the symposium in the morning and the Fastest Growing Companies awards in the afternoon, but I’m looking forward to seeing all of our readers and advertisers come together.”

Admission is free with a business card. The expo runs until 4 p.m.
