The Oct. 14 issue of Lehigh Valley Business will be featuring lists of Women-Owned and Minority-Owned Businesses.

The purpose of lists is to help companies in or near Berks, Carbon, Lehigh, Monroe, Northampton, Schuylkill, Warren and parts of Bucks and Montgomery counties gain exposure with LVB readers.

Companies around the region use LVB lists and its annual Book of Lists as a directory of local services.

There is no cost to participate and you don't have to be an advertiser or subscriber to be listed.Minority classification includes, for example, African-American, black, Hispanic, Latino, Asian Indian, Native-American, etc.

For the purposes of the minority-owned businesses list, women are not considered a minority group. Please complete the women-owned businesses survey.

Exception: If more than 51 percent of your ownership is women- and minority-owned, but neither category makes up 51 percent on its own, please complete the minority-owned survey, counting women as a minority classification.

The criterion for the women-owned businesses list is that the company must be at least 51 percent women-owned.

It is possible to qualify for both lists if, for example, you are a black woman who owns a business.

Please make sure that contact information at the bottom of the survey is up to date. Adding lists@lvb.com to your email address book can help future surveys gets through your spam filters.

To be considered for one or both of these lists, please complete the survey(s) by accessing the link(s) below. If you have any questions, please email LVB researcher, Christopher Holland, at Chrish@lvb.com.

Please submit surveys by Friday, Oct. 4 at 5 p.m.
