Williamson, Friedberg and Jones LLC opened a new law office in downtown Tamaqua.

In addition to its new Tamaqua location, the firm now has offices in Pottsville, Shenandoah, Pine Grove, Orwigsburg, Hegins, Tower City and Williamstown.

An attorney will be staffed at the Tamaqua office each day, said Julie Werdt, an attorney with the firm.

"We are looking to expand," Werdt said. "We have a lot of offices in the county and decided to move to north of where our current location is in Schuylkill County. We saw a market and decided to give people another option."

With 17 attorneys altogether, the firm would also like to expand its reach into Carbon County, she said.

The firm offers all types of law services, including real estate, litigation, criminal defense and family law. Lawyers from the other offices can be called upon to lend their expertise to clients as needed.

The new address is 111 E. Broad St. in Tamaqua. The firm can be reached at 570-668-1255 or at www.wfjlaw.net.
