Amazon will be adding jobs to its Breinigsville facilities as it adds 5,000 new full-time jobs across its fulfillment network.

The e-retailer said hiring begins immediately.

It is seeking people for positions involving picking, packing and shipping customer orders.

Breinigsville is one of 17 fulfillment centers where Amazon is adding the jobs. Currently, it employs over 20,000 full-time employees at its fulfillment centers, nationally.

The company did not clarify how many positions would be added to each facility; the average per facility would be nearly 300 jobs.

Amazon also is hiring for more than 2,000 jobs across its customer service network. There are no customer service locations in Pennsylvania.
