Staffing firm Integrity Personnel Inc. of South Whitehall Township has launched a separate business services division named IntegritySBS.

The spinoff will help lead the business operations of mid-market growth companies in the Mid-Atlantic region, from New York to Virginia, said Kevin Flemming, president of Integrity Personnel. Flemming said it is a new way for companies to manage traditional overhead areas that are common to all organizations.

The leaders of the spinoff include Flemming, who is co-founder and serves as the CEO of the new company. He oversees the delivery of client services for IntegritySBS and is responsible for the acquisition and deployment of the company's business resources.

The other co-founder is John G. Englesson, who serves as executive vice president and chief strategy officer. At IntegritySBS, he oversees product design, market strategy and capital structures.

Thomas DeCrosta is the managing director. He manages the company's regionally integrated sales force and business development initiatives.

The staffing firm began performing noncore, critical business functions for its corporate clients in 2008 and has been in existence for 25 years. However, Flemming sees this new offering as unique and "bringing the region a little closer to the biggest markets in the country."

With about 400 temporary and contract employees at Integrity Personnel, a select group of the workers will be assigned to IntegritySBS, depending on demand, Flemming said. The new group would include 10 employees but could triple by the end of the summer and continue to grow as the company adds new clients.

"We focus on the mid-market growth sector," Flemming said. These industries include technology, diversified manufacturing, commercial construction companies and not-for-profit clients, he said.

Clients pay a program fee; the cost of the service is a variable production charge that goes up and down and is directly correlated to the company's workload.

"You're only paying for the work being done," Flemming said. "We sell the product in a yearly contract." However, clients can terminate the contract at any time without penalty, he said.

Integrity Personnel Inc. provides temporary staffing, contract staffing and recruitment services to clients across nine industry sectors strictly in the Lehigh Valley, said Flemming.

In contrast, Integrity SBS manages and operates non-core, critical business functions for mid-market growth companies across the Mid-Atlantic. Areas include human resources, information technology management, internal accounting, sales support and customer communications.
