The team has unveiled its new uniform (or "kit" as it's referred to in soccer) that pays tribute to the soccer team that played for Bethlehem Steel between 1911 and 1930.
According to the Union's website, http://philadelphiaunion.com, the Bethlehem Steel F.C. was five-time winner of the U.S. Open Cup. The team was considered the most successful American soccer team in the first half of the 20th century according to the site.
The merchandise, which will feature large letter Bs for the Bethlehem Steel Football Club and the years 1911-1930, will be made by Adidas.
According to http://www.bethlehemsteelsoccer.org the team played in the stadium that is now owned by Moravian College and is used by its football team.
