The Lehigh Valley Engineering Council website was created to provide broader, faster and cheaper information flow about the council’s year-round activities.

The home page gives information about the council, what it does, those in charge of various tasks, meeting times and locations and the schedule for the year. The schedule and the monthly meetings summaries are saved under “Meeting Minutes,” while the previous years’ activities are saved under the “Archive.” Also on the site is a “Contact” page with email addresses and phone numbers for LVEC board members.

In addition, with a click from the home page, one can visit LVEC’s member societies’ websites.

One key benefit for LVEC’s member societies is that each organization may post information on its activities and events under the “Events of Member Societies.” Member societies are encouraged to send their announcements to the LVEC webmaster as soon as possible.

The lists of various meetings are sorted by date. This information can be valuable for member participants to link to the resources available on the LVEC website and stay current on what is happening in other professional organizations in the region.

In January and February, the most visited page is the “Engineers Week Banquet,” which has relevant information including a reservation form, the agenda, bio of the speaker and bios of the Engineer and Young Engineer of the Year.
