The Crayola Experience will be closing its doors beginning Tuesday, Feb. 19, for the next phase of its major renovation and expansion.

The multi-million dollar renovation project will expand the facility on Centre Square in Easton to more than 60,000 square feet and will include many new experiences for children.

The travel destination will reopen Memorial Day Monday, May 27.

When completed, the Crayola Experience will house nearly 50 percent more attractions, and with 18 major activities, guests will have three floors of exhibits.

Through Feb. 18, visitors to the Crayola Experience can buy half-price tickets to return to the attraction when the facility reopens, said Vicky Lozano, Crayola's vice president of corporate strategy.

The tickets will enable guests to visit the Crayola Experience from Memorial Day through the end of 2013.

"This special offer is an invitation for all new and longtime friends of the Crayola Experience to come enjoy our facility one more time before we close — then to come back after the grand reopening and enjoy the incredible transformation," Lozano said.
