The Da Vinci Science Center of Allentown said it broke its single-day paid attendance record for the fourth time in less than 30 days on Jan. 19 with 1,040 visitors. The day's total topped the 1,013 paid visitors received on Jan. 5, 2013, as the center held its Ice Cream Wars 5.0 event. The Center also set new highs on consecutive days, with 990 paid visitors on Dec. 28, 2012, and 981 paid visitors on last December. The single-day record prior to Dec. 2012 had stood for nearly seven years.

Penn Foundation of Sellersville said its Wellspring Clubhouse has received a three-year accreditation from the International Center for Clubhouse Development (ICCD). This is the sixth consecutive three-year accreditation Wellspring Clubhouse has received since it was first accredited by the ICCD in 1998.
Good Deeds
Genesis Bicycles of Easton has annually given a contribution CAT-Coalition for Appropriate Transportation for each bike & helmet sold the year before. Now after five years CAT said the gifts total over $8,400. The organization uses the contributions to run bicycle education classes, to lead Bicycle Heaven Rides, and to operate the Bethlehem Bicycle Cooperative (BBC).

National Penn Bancshares Inc. of Boyertown has been ranked number 15 on the annual Forbes 2013 Best Banks in America List for the second consecutive year.
National Penn retained the number 15 position on the Forbes 2013 list after achieving the ranking on the 2012 Best Banks list and rising from number 33 on the 2011 list.
The survey – conducted by Forbes with financial data provided by SNL Financial – gauges the health of the nation's biggest banks. Figures were based on regulatory filings of public banks and thrifts through the third quarter of 2012. Banks included in the list range in asset size from $4.5 billion to $2.3 trillion in assets.
Gastrointestinal Care and General Surgery at Grand View Hospital of Sellersville are both in the top 10 percent of America's hospitals according to a new report from Healthgrades, the leading provider of information to help consumers make an informed decision about a physician or hospital. The report, American Hospital Quality Outcomes 2013: Healthgrades Report to the Nation, evaluates how approximately 4,500 hospitals nationwide performed on risk-adjusted mortality and complication rates for nearly 30 of the most common conditions treated and procedures performed from 2009 through 2011. Grand View Hospital also received the Distinguished Hospital Award for Clinical Excellence 2013 from Healthgrades. Earlier, it received the Outstanding Patient Experience Award 2012. Distinguished Hospitals for Clinical Excellence perform in the top five percent nationally for overall clinical excellence.

Altitude Marketing of Emmaus said it has helped with the launch of a new website for National Telecom Network (NTN), a nationwide provider of voice, data, internet and conferencing solutions to business markets. NTN's website, www.nationaltelecom.net, provides an overview of the company, services, and carriers. A special form enables users to request a custom price quote from NTN. The site successfully conveys the company's focus on customer service with contact information displayed prominently in the header and the footer throughout all pages in the site.
Real Estate
Colliers International of Allentown facilitated the sale of a 0.8–acre landsite with an Absolute NNN ground lease. The parcel, in Northampton, which sold for $525,000, includes a convenience store of approximately 1,900 square feet and gas station leased by Redner's Market.
