The Stone Creek Development Corp. recently named Schlouch Inc. of Blandon to prepare the site for 37 single-family homes in Upper Nazareth Township.

Tuskes Homes of Bethlehem is the developer of the project.

Schlouch is surveying the site, and providing stakeout, sediment/erosion control, rock removal, earthwork, sanitary and storm sewers, water line installation, roads, curbs, paving and seeding. Work is set to be finished by spring.

The third phase of Eagles Landing includes nearly 300 single family homes, said Michael Tuskes, vice president of Tuskes Homes.

Two years ago, the developer donated improvements and various amenities to Tuskes Park, a 33-acre park that’s connected to the Eagles Landing community.

About 165 houses have been sold. The construction costs for Phase 3A of the project are about $1.5 million, said Tuskes.

Tuskes Homes serves as the developer, builder and architect for the Eagles Landing project, he added.

National Penn Bank financed the project and the first phase began in 2005. Houses are priced in the $299,000 to $500,000 range.

“The housing market has been picking up towards the end of last year,” said Tuskes. “It’s been coming back. Interest rates are at all-time lows.”

The third phase includes as many as 115 lots and would take about three to four years for construction to be complete.
