Two Lehigh Valley construction companies are joining forces. Boyle Construction of Allentown and CC Construction Services have announced they have formed a strategic alliance in which Boyle will acquire CC Construction.

Sean Boyle, president of Boyle Construction, said the move is part of a succession plan for Chuck Werkheiser, owner of CC.

"He looked into the long-term future and worried about his exit strategy," said Boyle. "He has a lot of good long-term employees and clients to watch out for."

In the short term, however, while Boyle will be acquiring CC Construction, the names and management of the two firms will be staying mostly in place and they will continue to operate out of their respective locations.

Both firms were founded in 1977 and are now 35 years old.
