The 240,000-square-foot, $75 million bakery will be located on 30 acres of land the company has purchased at 105 Boulder Drive, Breinigsville, in Macungie Township, near the site of the Ocean Spray plant that is currently under construction.

The bakery will produce bread and buns for sale in the Northeast.

The company said that new facility, which they plan to build as a LEED-certified plant, will enable it to continue to serve its customers with the highest quality and freshest baked goods while leveraging significant advances in baking technology that will make its operations more efficient.

Construction of the plant is expected to begin in a few months and be completed by the end of 2013.
