Structures previously located on the spot are in the process of being demolished, said Mike Moore, communications coordinator with the city of Allentown.

Moore said the parties involved will be seeking permits to build after the beginning of the year.

Erin Pensa, CVS/pharmacy director of public relations, said that the store will be opening a new location in late 2013 in Allentown, but she did not have other details to share at this time.
