The building would be located at the corner of West Broad Street and Third Avenue. Demolition of the former Jack Jones Buick Dealership is complete, paving the way for the new medical office space for Lehigh Valley Health Network.

Construction is scheduled to start in January, said David Serfass, president of Serfass Construction, who estimated a completion date in early summer.

MKSD of Allentown is the architect on the project, Schloch Inc. of Blandon is doing the site work and Novak Ventures Inc. of Bethlehem, headed by Ed Novak, is the developer of the new site.

Novak estimated the construction project to be worth about $4 million.

Serfass said the building would fit in well with the surrounding neighborhood because it would not be situated far from the street.
