Martin C. Levin, CPA, MBA, CVA of Regan, Levin, Bloss, Brown & Savchak, P.C. Certified Public Accountants of Easton successfully completed the certification process with the National Association of Certified Valuators and Analysts (NACVA), his Designation of Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA). Requirements to earn the CVA designation include being a licensed certified public accountant, completing NACVA'S five-day training program, and successfully completing the association's comprehensive examination.

OraSure Technologies Inc. of Bethlehem, an oral fluid diagnostics firm, hired Kathleen G. Weber as the company's senior vice president and general manager of consumer products. Her appointment is the culmination of an extensive national search which began this past July following the company's receipt of U.S. Food and Drug Administration approval of its OraQuick In-Home HIV Test. Weber will be responsible for the growth and success of this test and for expanding the company's consumer products franchise. Weber will report to Douglas A. Michels, OraSure's president and chief executive officer. Weber has nearly 25 years of direct to consumer health care and marketing experience. She most recently served as senior vice president at Pfizer Consumer Healthcare where she directed the Global Rx-to-OTC switch team and managed the $700 million U.S. Analgesics and Respiratory businesses including the Advil brand. While at Pfizer, Weber also managed topical health care businesses.

As part of its American Education Week celebration, the Lebanon School District honored Kevin Dellicker of Dellicker Strategies of Kutztown, as a “Friend of Education” for the 2012-13 school year along with several other honorees. The designation was awarded at the school district's annual luncheon at Lebanon High School on Nov. 16. Dellicker Strategies is behind the PA Hybrid Learning Initiative (PA HLI), of which the Lebanon School District is a member. Fifteen schools across Pennsylvania are participating in the pilot PA HLI program for the 2012-13 school year. The PA HLI combines digital resources like laptops and the Internet along with in-classroom teacher instruction for a more student-centered approach to learning.

David E. Rathgeb CFP, owner of Eaton Income Solutions in Reading, has been authorized by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards (CFP Board) to use the certification marks CFP, Certified Financial Planner, and CFP (with flame design) in accordance with CFP board certification and renewal requirements.

The board of directors of the Federal Home Loan Bank of Pittsburgh recently named Frederick E. Schea, president and chief executive officer of First Savings Bank of Perkasie as a member director. In addition to serving as president and CEO of First Savings, Schea serves on the board of directors of Pearl S. Buck International, Bucks County Community College Foundation, Doylestown Health Foundation, and the Lutheran Community at Telford.
