On Nov. 14, the Greater Lehigh Valley Auto Dealers Association earned the 2012 Outstanding Fundraising Group award presented by the Eastern Pennsylvania Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals.

The auto dealers group, which goes by the acronym GLVADA, is a nonprofit association comprised of more than 50 area dealerships.

“Each year, we strive to increase our contribution to community organizations and are looking forward to raising funds for this year’s Auto Show Gala beneficiary – the Lehigh Valley Health Network Children’s Hospital,” said Tom Kwiatek, executive director of the auto dealers group.

Over the last five years, the auto group contributed more than $600,000 to support local charities and scholarships.
