Creditsafe USA, the U.S. Division of Creditsafe Group, a European supplier of online business credit information, will be locating its North American headquarters in Allentown.

The company, which boasts 50,000 customers across Europe, is expanding into North America with the move. It has just signed a lease for a 12,000-square-foot office in 1550 Pond Road in Allentown. Ann Kline of Colliers International represented Creditsafe in this transaction; Matt Dorman of NAI Summit, was the leasing agent for the property.

“We are expanding into the North American marketplace and the offices on Pond Road will act as our USA national headquarters.” said David Knowles, marketing director for the Creditsafe Group. “Initially some 50 staff will be employed for the launch later this year, but the company foresees that number growing to over 250 within the next five years.”

“The office space available to us at Pond Road, its connectivity, and the talent pool in the local community, made this a natural choice for us when fixing a location for our American launch,” added Creditsafe USA President Matthew Debbage.
