Local Realtor garners prestigious award
Frederick is the founder of the Frederick Group, a multi-service real estate office headquartered in Allentown.
As a longtime member of the LehighValley's real estate community, Frederick has played a major role in some of the region's largest transactions.
He was responsible for bringing Wegmans supermarkets to Allentown, going so far as to personally pilot a group of Allentown city council members to the company's flagship store in Rochester, N.Y. so they could get a glimpse of the market's unique design.
Frederick will receive the award at the 19th Annual March of Dimes Real Estate Award Breakfast held Oct. 19, at the Best Western Lehigh Valley Conference Center in Bethlehem.
The award is given to "an outstanding individual, company or entity whose commercial and industrial real estate activities have significantly enhanced the local community," according to the nonprofit.
In addition, an award will also be presented to a commercial/industrial project that made a significant impact on the economic development of the Lehigh Valley. St. Luke's University Health Network's Anderson campus has been chosen to receive the 2012 award.
A committee comprised of the commercial and industrial real estate professionals in the Lehigh Valley, along with the March of Dimes, organizes the event.
The March of Dimes is a nonprofit organization with a mission to improve the health of babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth and infant mortality.
