The Lehigh Valley Economic Development Corporation made it official today. Chairman of the Board Don Bernhard held a press conference at 11 a.m. where he introduced Don Cunningham as the new president and CEO of LVEDC.

Cunningham's hiring was approved by the selection and executive committees and then voted on by the board of directors over the holiday weekend.

Cunningham has deep ties to the region. He most recently served as the county executive of Lehigh County, but had also held office as the Mayor of Bethlehem.
