The amount of tax revenue generated through slot machine play was $116.02 million for the month. The increase in revenue did come with an addition to the number of slot machines. The average number of operating slot machines throughout Pennsylvania at the 11 casinos was 26,760 in April 2012 compared to 26,516 at the casinos in April 2011.
